The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is an active, graceful, well-balanced dog with a gentle expression. 12″ – 13″ in height, weighing between 13 lbs and 18 lbs, the Cavalier is a versatile little dog, fearless and sporting in character, yet at the same time, gentle and affectionate. The Cavalier is a true companion dog, equally at home on the couch or on a hiking trail. They are good with children, although, because of their size, they are best suited for older, gentle children. Because they are bred to be companion dogs, Cavaliers prefer to spend most of their time with their families. They are eager to please, which makes them easy to train. Not just a pretty face, Cavaliers compete successfully in obedience, rally and agility, and make excellent therapy dogs. Cavaliers need a moderate amount of exercise and regular grooming. Brushing keeps coats free from mats and tangles, and helps control shedding. Ears, paws and teeth also need regular attention.

We are a small kennel of the regal Cavalier King Charles Spaniels in the North Okanagan Valley. Our dogs are part of our family, puppies are lovingly raised with our family and our young grandchildren. We show our dogs in Conformation. We health check our dogs by approved veterinarians.

I fell in love with Cavaliers several years ago and then spent several more years trying to find the “right” dog for me. Since then I have shown Billy, my dog, to his Cdn Grand Championship. Together we have taken several Toy Group #1’s and Best Owner/Handler in Toy Group. Tiana, our lovely little Tri-coloured girl is also a Cdn Grand Champion and at the 2014 National Specialty she took Best Tri Colour in Specialty along with Best Overall Tri Colour in the BC Specialty Show. Sonny is our handsome little Ruby boy who arrived from Slovenia just in time for our Ruby anniversary, he is just starting his show career, we are planning on a long, happy lifetime with this boy.
